Based in Lancashire, I have been a self employed dressmaker for over ten years, with a wide range of skills developed over the course of my career working in costume for TV and film.
My experience encompasses bridalwear, mascot costume construction and making costumes for TV as part of my role as a costume supervisor.
Choosing a wedding dress can feel stressful if you can’t find what reflects you perfectly for your special day. My primary aim as a dressmaker is to work with you together to design and create a dress that is tailored to fit your body, made in fabrics that you choose with embellishments and details that let your personality shine through.
Dress fittings take place in the comfort of your own home. Due to my experience I have excellent etiquette in dressing and fitting clients. I communicate clearly and efficiently while always listenening to my clients needs. I understand how important it is to have clarity and tranpsparency when discussing design ideas and costs.
My professional work in TV and Film can be viewed on Linkedin here. When I am not working in TV I work making arts and crafts. My skillset includes stippling, drawing, painting, card making, silk painting and hand embroidery to name a few.
My creativity has enabled me to add extra touches for some of my wedding clients in the way of ring pillows and matching hand embroidered keepsakes using left over fabric from making their wedding dress.
